International Consultant Psychologists Corp  (Hereafter referred to as I.C.P ) is a team of trained, Qualified and Experienced Psychologists.

We work with Parents, The Court, Solicitors, Tribunals, Teachers, Nurses, Probation Officers, Young Offenders, Institution Staff, Social Workers, Sporting Bodies, etc, in familiarising ourselves fully with the case, assess ,interview and test where necessary,before reviewing any additional case notes or histories ,evaluating and submitting our report for production in court or tribunal. We assist Individuals, Small Groups and Large Organisations in addressing problems and greatly improving strategies in the 7 main fields outlined below, plus our Psycho-Legal and Expert Witness Service., which is undertaken under our ''Terms of Engagement'', for the Court, Solicitor or Tribunal. We basically offer three main services. Our primary service is in the Expert Witness Field and Assessment . Our Home Page lists our combined areas of expertise and experience. Our second main arena is to operate Training courses for L.E.A's, Corporate Bodies and other groups. We are currently offering 7 Courses...see our Home Page. Our Third involvement is with Individuals and groups in Counselling and Psycho Therapy provision.If you or someone close to you is struggling emotionally and needs help and direction. I.C.P have the person to listen and give expert assistance.

 

Our Training Delivery programmes were researched and developed here in the UK and applied very successfully since 1992 here and in the USA, and our staff combined teaching experiences total more than 100 years, in the  Expert Witness,Teaching, Training,Education and Health and Business sectors, as Psychologists/ Psychiatrists/ Counsellors/ Coaches/ Teachers. We travel anywhere and will happily undertake the most difficult or challenging cases.
Our Staff are happily Married, all are Parents or Grandparents, are highly qualified  and trained as Expert Witnesses, Teachers, Counsellors and are experienced Therapists. Our methods have been highly successful both here in the UK and in the USA, and we work with you and your staff or family and friends to greatly improve the ways our clients function in difficult areas of daily life.

We undertake to provide our 'Terms Of Engagement' upon being requisitioned by the Solicitor  or Referrer representing the client/s. At the same time we will consider the requirement, present our budget proposal, of which a more detailed and accurate breakdown can be provided after the receipt of a draft instruction letter.

The usual progression post-instruction would be to meet a combination of the following tasks:

Our Principal Consultant  left Grammar School and became a Pro- Soccer player, playing here in the UK and later in the USA. Whilst footballing he qualified as a Teacher at St Marks & St Johns College, London University (Now part of Exeter University). majoring in Physical Education and Minoring in  Psychology and Child Development.

Upon qualifying,was appointed Director Of Physical Education at Elmer, New Jersey, USA but had to return to UK in the wake of the Vietnam War and the World Oil Crisis and took up his first teaching post.

3 years  at Blurton High School, Stoke-On-Trent to 1974.
From 1974- 1977. Appointed Head Of PE  and I/C Pastoral Care at St Bedes School, Cambridge.

Concurrent with that and then full time, return to studies from 1977- 1979 completed his Masters Degree / Licentiate of College Preceptors ( now College of Teachers).

In 1977 appointed as Head Of PE and Senior Master at Coppice Special School, Staffs, working with kids then classified as "educationally sub- normal",A.D.H.D,Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Downs Syndrome, Dyslexic, E.B.D, etc and was always regarded as the ''Pied Piper'' for his gifted approach as a teacher.

Stayed teaching at the chalk face there for 11 years full time, whilst simultaneously studying more into Psychology arenas, obtaining more qualifications and adding to his vast experience as a teacher, taking up many lecturing opportunities in the Education, Business and Commerce and Health Service Sectors.

In The 1990's had retired early from full time teaching in Special Needs to concentrate on his many and varied business interests and lecturing as a Consultant Psychologist, mainly in the USA being particularly renowned for his work for " Headstart Projects" in New York and New Jersey for clients with severe head injuries, once again working with ADHD and Special Needs children.,and working as Expert Witness in many Court cases involving litigations for the head-injured ,or those having experienced personality change ,and assessing and testing diagnostically , children and adults with special needs,emotional and behavioural difficulties. 

Working with the disadvantaged, has always been a  big interest. ''The Headstart Project" became world famous with its great input for kids severely affected by serious head injuries. His  consultancy input as a teacher and psychologist were invaluable to its operation. When in the UK worked as a "troubleshooter" Supply Teacher and continued his academic pursuits also, writing many papers for Journals in the UK and USA, where he is a former Chairman of the International Consultant Psychologists Society.

Continues to thirst for new experiences and academic challenges and continues to be very active as a member of many associations and groups whilst amassing more qualifications and staying abreast of all latest developments.

known as a very affable, approachable guy, with a great sense of humour, who, whilst being an academic is known for his simple speaking, not tolerating psycho- babble. His great advantages are in being many years a teacher, lecturer, psychologist, husband, father to two girls, and to recent addition,a baby boy born January 2007, is devoted to his young family and his work. A very informed and focused approach, effected with real insight, warmth and empathy......

Actively engaged in the Expert Witness arena in the U.K for almost 4 years now having many years experience prior to that in the United States, where the courts are much more rigourous and demanding,with many U.K  acclaimed Reports submitted to date, and several currently active. Has been Principal Consultant Psychologist at our London Office since 2005.

Phil has recently completed the Bond Solon (Barristers) London Expert Witness Training Certificate Course conferred by the Cardiff University Law School.

His hobbies include collecting Vintage Cars & Motor Bikes, playing Golf, Squash, Tennis ,Volleyball ( Founder of Cambridge Volleyball Club, Former Secretary of English Schools Volleyball Association), studying,  following Chelsea F.C, and  being heavily involved in community work and Fund Raising for his Lions Club ,the worlds largest voluntary charitable organisation and for whom he is Immediate Past President at Essex & Suffolk  Lions Club, Past President of Danbury Lions Club,  collecting Antiques, cooking, Theatre, but most of all his fantastic  family life ,and their wonderful baby son.
